FrontPage Help: Photo Gallery

A photo gallery is an easy way to share your photos on the internet.  Here's how you do it!

1. Click on "File", "New", "Page or Web."

2. On the right hand side, click on "Page Templates", then choose "Photo Gallery".

3. Double-click on the photo gallery that has appeared.  You will see the following properties box.

4. In order to add a new picture to the photo gallery, click on "Add", then choose the location of the picture, navigating until you are able to click on the desired picture, then choose "Open."  The picture will be imported into your photo gallery.

5. In order to change how the picture appears, open the properties box (by double-clicking the photo gallery), click on the file name for the picture, then "edit".  Follow the instructions to rotate the picture, change the size, etc.

6. In order to change where a picture appears in your photo gallery, open the dialogue box, click on the picture, then either click on "move up" or "move down" until the picture is in your desired location.

7. In order to delete the picture (for example, the sample pictures that automatically appeared), open the properties box, click on the the file name for the picture, then "delete".

8. In order to add a caption or description to your picture, open the properties box, click on the file name, then type in your text in the "Caption" and/or "Description" boxes.

9. In order to change the layout of your photo gallery, open the properties box, choose the "layout" tab, then select the type of layout you desire.

9. Of course, always choose "OK" to close the dialogue box, and remember to save your page.
