http://www.gc.peachnet.edu/admin/servicelearning/061_75138.jpg

Objectives:

1.  To increase knowledge about European Renaissance, Reformation and Early Modern Europe – its concepts, people, and terms.

2.  To be able to select activities of interest to the individual student.

Directions:        From the attached grid, you will do the seven required tasks and then select ten additional tasks that interest you.  You MUST put the task name (i.e. enlightenment/knowledge) on each task; otherwise you WILL receive a zero on your task.   You will complete these for 10 points each.  (You may do one additional task for 10 points extra credit.)   In order to remain on task, you are expected to turn in at least one task per day, you are also required to turn in a minimum of 3 tasks per week; however you may not turn in more than 3 tasks per day.  Once a task is completed, you will turn it in to Mrs. Brost for a grade.  All work will be returned to you on the final due date.  You must place all your returned work in your Renaissance folder and enter it on your grade sheet.  Mrs. Brost will show you the exact type of folder you must use.  GET ONE NOW!  The tasks in your folder should be arranged as they are listed on your grade sheet.

Your last "turn in" day will be on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.  THIS WILL BE THE LAST DAY THAT I GRADE ANY WORK FROM THIS PROJECT!!!  ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

On the due date of Thursday, May 19, 2016, you will turn in your folder for a final grade.

No late projects will be accepted.

***Note to Parents:  Please be aware that aside from the written directions, there will be numerous verbal directions that the students are also required to follow in regards to this project.

Work on this project on specific project days and at home.  It will take some time on your own to do research.  This is an individual project – do not work with a partner.  It is to your benefit to do the tasks early so that you are not rushed to finish it.  This project is worth a total of 170 points (with a multiple of 3) and will be a large portion of your 3rd Trimester grade in my class.  Learn something and have fun!
