The Articles of Confederation only let the President of the Continental Congress be in that role for one year. This would only let the President guide, direct, & control the congress. The Articles ignored the citizens educational value. Pork barreling will make the government bankrupt because of their useless spending. They would raise taxes to gain more money for their spending. The waste of money was only spent on small but expensive renovations.
