Arthur St. Clair, the real 9th president, was born on March 23rd, 1734.No one knows this because George Washington is claimed to be the 1st president, but there were 10 before them. He studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Then he moved to from Thurso, Scotland, his home town, and settled in Boston. When he arrived, he fought in the French and Indian war. He served under a man by the name of General Jeffrey Amherst. He also took place in the Battles of Abraham. He was at Fort Ticonderoga during the Revolutionary War. A few years after he was elected the president of the Continental Congress, he became president of the 13 colonies. He was president from February 2nd, 1787 until October 29th, 1787, while Shays' rebellion had taken place. He died in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, in 1818 at the age of 84. What do you think of that!
