Weaknesses of Articles of Confederation
The Articles of Confederation had many different weaknesses that were shown after it formed. They did not have enough central power. The states had control of their own power and used it to try form their own constitutions, but failed. Congress also didn't have the power to tax the people of the states. They didn't have the power to draft anyone they wanted into the Continental Army. These are some of the weaknesses on the Articles of Confederation.
Weaknesses of Pork Barrel Legislation
The weaknesses of the Pork Barrel Legislation is that it was a waste of money that was needed very much. Congress used it to pay for the Mammoth Bill which cost $5,910,000. Pork Barrel overspending will get to much attention and it will overstate its fiscal impact. Federal money is being spent on a variety of government projects. Most of them are not really needed. These are the weaknesses of the pork barrel legislation.
