Thomas Mifflin was born on January 10, 1774.January 20, 1800, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania he died. From January 10, 1774 to January 20, 1800 he accomplished many things. He graduated from what is now known as the University of Philadelphia, then went into the merchant business. He became a merchant and after that he went into business with his brother George Mifflin. He married in 1765. became a member of Americas philosophical society. he was also in the Continental Congress but left to be in the Continental Army. He was also in the Religious Society of Friends but got expelled because he was in the army. Thomas Mifflin was an amazing man with great accomplishments. He was such a great president that he deserved to have a monument built in his honor. He even accomplished many things that other presidents or governors had never accomplished. He climbed so many towers, went and overcame so many obstacles that many other people had never even thought to accomplish. He was truly a great man. He went through so many trials and tribulations and managed to come out unscathed. He was one of the many great men of this country that decided after the war, we needed to establish a government that would help rule this country. He was one of the many men that wasn't afraid of what other men would think about him. He knew what he wanted and decided to fight for what he wanted. This is what makes Thomas Mifflin one of the great man of this country. This is what makes Thomas Mifflin, a PRESIDENT of our great country, the Unites States of America.
