A Monument for Good
This monument will be great for our colonies. It will be great because it brings beauty and sophistication to our colonies. It will also be a remembrance to our loving, caring president. The successions of the Articles of Confederations help us make our monument by all of the money we have earned. It helps with paying the expenses because we don’t have to worry about the other things to pay for. This money is not being wasted it is being used to make our colonies look better. All of this is in thanks to the successes of the Articles of Confederation. The Articles of confederation have left rules and regulations stating that we could build a monument for a president etc. for the pleasure of our citizens. This could not have happened, or at least not during this time, if it weren’t for the Articles of Confederation. The Articles’ delegated most of the powers (the power to tax, to regulate trade, and to draft troops) to the individual states, but left the federal government power over war, foreign policy, and issuing money. The Articles of Confederation had a major success it was settling Western land claims with the North West Ordinance.
