Nathaniel Gorham

Nathaniel Gorham was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts on May 27, 1738. Nathaniel Gorham had an excellent education. He was a great advantage in companies. Later he settled in the business at the place of his nativity.

     In Charlestown, in 1771, he was chosen to be a representative.  Nathaniel Gorham was a very good assiduous attendant an the house of representatives. He was also a leader in all debates. Later Nathaniel Gorham was elected a delegate a delegate of the convention. this was the convention that formed the constitution of his native state. Nathaniel Gorham was chosen a member of the congress if the Unites States. Later, he was chosen to be president.

    Nathaniel Gorham was later a member of the Grand Convention. This convention formed the federal constitution. He stood high with all parties for his wisdom and prudence. Soon after Nathaniel Gorham was the influential member of the State Convention. Later at the age of fifty - eight, Nathaniel Gorham died on June 11, 1796.
