Thomas McKean

Thomas McKean was born in New London, Pennsylvania on March 19, 1734.  He was the second president of the ten original presidents  under the Articles of Confederation.  He was elected as president of congress in 1781.  He died June 24, 1817 of old age at the age of 83.
