Let's Support The Articles of Confederation

Come on people support the Articles of Confederation. We earned our Independence so now let’s get a new confederation. After the defeat of Great Britain the 13 Colonies looked for a new kind of Confederation to defend against England. On November 15, 1777 the United States of America (USA) passed the Articles of Confederation. After this it took 4 years for all 13 colonies to approve this Article. The last colony was Maryland which held up all the other colonies to pass the Article. The Articles of Confederation was led by each colony which meant each colony had the power to make there own congress or decisions. What else can we want? The biggest success and use of the Articles of Confederation was that it settled land claims in the 13 colonies. This stopped any disputes or wars between the colonies. This Article created the Northwest Territory and helped people make their own territorial government. So let’s support this Confederation look at what it did for us. It settled land piece.
