Evaluation

This project is worth a total of 30 points.  Following is an explanation of the breakdown of those points:

You will receive a grade from the teacher of up to 20 points on your part of the project based on the following criteria:

• inclusion of all required information and quality of content
• appropriate grammar/spelling OR effective oral presentation (eye contact, voice projection, etc.)
• effectiveness of writing/speaking style (your project is written/spoken for the intended audience and purpose stated in the task)
• effectiveness of presentation and/or use of technology

You will also receive up to 5 points for being a good audience member and for taking notes during the oral presentations about the first 10 presidents.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to grade yourself and your partners and assign them up to 5 points based on the following criteria:

• cooperation

• completion of each student’s fair share of the project
