Taking a Stand in History | |
My students have succeeded at the site, district, county,
state, and national levels of this competition. I have
appropriately high levels of expectation for students and am confident
in their ability to succeed. I expect that you will read the information available to you at the official NHD web site. The web site has a wealth of information on such issues as choosing an appropriate topic, conducting high quality research, and creating the specific elements that are required as part of the project. Teachers may use the curricular materials that I have created in order to help them implement the project in their own classrooms. Adjust the timeline dates to suit your school calendar. Decide if you want to assign points or credit for each of the individual elements and/or the finished project. |
