Welcome to Sugar Hill
Elementary School's website! It is my great privilege to serve
you and your students as the principal of Sugar Hill. I am
looking forward to a promising school year and welcome opportunities
to meet and work with you and your children throughout the 2011-2012
school year.
Our campus is located in Sunnymead Ranch
residential community and possesses a small neighborhood feel as
students, staff, parents, and the surrounding community partner together to ensure the educational
success of all of our students. Our school colors are blue and
green and our school mascot is Shadow, the dragon.
Sugar Hill's teachers
and support staff are dedicated to preparing its' students for
success by providing a quality education for all children. Our
goal is to offer your children the best possible education in a safe
learning environment. As a staff, we strategically focus on
student learning and provide many opportunities for our students to
increase their academic performance through high expectations,
comprehensive programs, interventions, and effective teaching.
Sugar Hill takes great
pride in establishing an atmosphere that invites its valued
stakeholders to be a part of the educational process.
Throughout the year, parents are provided multiple opportunities to
engage in the education of their child. We welcome your
attendance at school events and encourage your participation by
volunteering in the classroom or by joining our Parent Teacher
Association (PTA), English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC), or
School Site Council (SSC). For more information regarding
