Edgemont Academy of Production and Publication

Production Studio The Production Studio equips children with the knowledge of taking stories and turning them into video.  Children experience video taping, video editing and overall production. Each classroom participates in a weekly newscasters schedule.

Publication Studio The Publication Studio allows children to publish a wide range of text incorporating stimulating graphics. Fifth graders publish a weekly newsletter, while there are ongoing classroom publications.

Edgemont Academy of Production and Publication will accelerate learning by providing students with abundant opportunities to participate in authentic students with abundant opportunities to participate in authentic experiences using all areas of communications.  Students will read a variety of literature genres as positive literacy models and will author their own works using technological methodologies to publish and compose multimedia productions.
