Principal’s Message:

I am excited and proud to rejoin the staff as the new principal of Edgemont Elementary!  Having served as Assistant Principal in the 2007/2008 school year, it is nice to return to such a caring and high achieving staff.  I am excited about working together to educate the young minds that come through our doors this year. 

I look forward to meeting and connecting with all of the students and their families.  As the partnership between home and school is vital to the success of all students, I encourage you to become involved in school activities.  Involvement may include volunteering in the classroom, attending school functions, joining the Booster Club, and serving on our ELAC and School Site Council, just to name a few.  Your time and commitment are highly desired and greatly valued.

Communication is also crucial to a successful home/school partnership and you can expect that we will keep you up to date on important school events and issues.

Please stop and say hello to me, as I am out on campus on a daily basis visiting classrooms, supervising recess and lunch, welcoming students and parents in the morning and afternoon.  My style is one of high-visibility for students, staff, and parents.

Once again I look forward to working with all of you.  With your support this will be an exciting and successful school year.
