Box Springs has nearly 600 students housed in twenty-eight classrooms. We have a credentialed staff of twenty-seven teacher and fourteen classified employees. The school also has the services of a Resource Specialist Teacher, Counselor, Title One Resource Teacher, Psychologist and Speech & Language Pathologist.
I have worked in the public schools of California for the past thirty- four years. This is my twenty-sixth year as an administrator, and my third year as principal of Box Springs School. I have a bachelors degree in history from Cal State Long Beach, a masters degree from Pepperdine University and earned my doctorate at the University of La Verne. My wife is also a principal and we have two sons in college. We are avid USC football fans!
