2011-2012 School Year

 Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! 

 I hope your summer vacation was fantastic and you are rested and ready for what will be a super school year.  These last few months have been challenging months for all California schools.  The budget problems have affected everybody and we are no exception.  Despite these challenges, Box Springs Elementary School remains a shining example of a learning community dedicated to excellence in all areas.  Our staff is exceptionally talented and dedicated.  We will continue to work together towards our goals in student achievement.  We have high expectations for our students, and will accept nothing less, because we know our students are capable of meeting them.   I am very proud to be part of the Box Springs Learning Community and am looking forward to the upcoming year. 

Please consider becoming an active part of your child’s education by joining PTA and/or volunteering in your child’s classroom. Through teamwork, persistence and dedication to continuous improvement, Box Springs will continue to be a place where children will flourish.  Thank you for your commitment to our learning community.
