STEP ONE: Transcripts
Submit OFFICIAL transcript(s) from previous school(s) of record.This
step must be completed before you can go on to any other step.
Students must have a total of 140 credits to register for HSD
STEP TWO: TABE TESTING
CompleteTABE testing
Please allow 3-4 hours to complete the TABE test
STEP THREE:CASAS TESTING/ORIENTATION
Complete CASA Stesting and entry forms.
Please allow at least 2 hours to complete the CASAS test
Schedule appointment with the counselor
STEP FOUR: COUNSELOR
Meet with the counselor at the appointment time you scheduled in
Step 3 and pay all requiredfees. Register for either high
school diploma classes or Adult Basic Education classes (depending
on TABE scores).

STEP FOUR: COUNSELOR
Meet with the counselor and pay required fees.
Register for either the GED Preparation Class OR Adult Basic
Education/Pre-GED Class (depending on TABE scores)
