Dear Congress,

we are men from the city of Farnham, Virginia, and we think that our city deserves a statue of city hero and tenth president Cyrus Griffin. Griffin was a good president and friend to many American citizens when he was president. we believe that we need a statue that represents a good leader. He was safe and he cared about the Articles of Confederation. The articles were a good thing to have in America when states would have rowdy leaders. Cyrus Griffin was very calm a lot of the time and did his best to keep his cool. The man was always helping others and was a good war person. He did his best to keep neighboring states from beginning civil wars. we would be excited if we could get this money to get this statue, and have a memorial to our hometown president, Cyrus Griffin.
